Love this country...

The Mudville GazetteLove this country. Love it. Fly the flag, and be grateful. Be humbled.

Patriotism is something to be unabashedly proud of having. America is the greatest country in the world. That is not something to be ashamed of. Our system works better, our economy is stronger, and our intentions are generally good. Our leadership is needed. "Peace through strengh" is not an oxymoron.

We give more money, we save more lives, we provide more food, enable more humanitarian efforts, and stand up for what is good and right more than anyone else in the world... and for less thanks.

All people are not equal. All religions are not equal. All countries are not equal. All words are not true. While America may not be perfect, she’s still the best game around.

We are not entitled to any moral high ground, but we do try to keep it. We are not entitled to the endless blessings that we - as Americans - have been given, so we work hard to earn them.

Everything isn't relative. The indecisive and fearful middle is a place of weakness to be visited, but not lived-in. Perspective means everything when it comes to understanding, but means nothing when it comes to right & wrong.

"When words lose their meaning, people will lose their liberty"
- Chinese philosopher Confucius
