Fighting the Fundamental Evil of Islam...

Part of me died when I saw this cruel killingThe murder of Atwar Bahjat, one of Iraq's top television journalists, was an act of "exceptional cruelty".

It appears, however, that the video discussed in The Times article linked above and in the image to the right is a hoax.

The misrepresented video does not in any way diminish the horror of either murder in the name of Allah.

Read this for more from the Mudville Gazette, especially if you are inclined towards moral relativism when it comes to your perspective on the War on Terror...specifically, Islamic terror.

We must not be timid. We must not roll over and wait to be killed. Fighting this evil is right and just.

The Quran is rife with calls to murder in the name of Allah. Here is one of many examples:
Quran: 9:111, Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur’an.
From Islam-Watch:
Islam is a cultic (brotherhood or ummatic) religion by nature. The very theme of Islam is: Allah is the sole creator of everything on heaven and Earth and Muslims are His only legitimate and righteous people. Remaining all other people (Jews, Christians, Hindus etc.) are simply infidels and hated by Allah... Following this line of thinking the Muslims believe that anyone who does not agree with them is kaffir and enemy of Islam; hence enemy of Allah. A Muslim must oppose his/her enemy and kill him/her by any means whenever the opportunity arises.
For those readers who want to believe that it is the U.S. or Christianity that is provocative and evil, pull your heads out of the sand to see that Islam is not 'the same only different'. There are certainily good Muslims, but Islam is not a peaceful religion. It is fundamentally evil.

If I Die Before You WakeHere's a great song & slideshow (powerpoint) that has been forwarded around through the military recently...a different kind of God indeed, and extraordinary soldiers.
