The case against Kofi...

Michael van der Galien from The Moderate Voice directed me to this article from The Times of London:
Is there blood on his hands?Page 1 is the case against Kofi.
As Kofi Annan prepares to stand down as UN secretary-general, Adam LeBor investigates the accusations made against the world’s chief defender of human rights
Page 2 is the case for Kofi, and page 3 tries to answer the question 'what is the UN?' and provides a nice list of likely successors to Annan.
I agree with Michael:
Under his rule, the UN has almost made itself irrelevant regarding serious issues facing the world today. Corrupt and ineffective are the first words that come to mind when I think about the UN these days.Spot-on.
